Purpose

The purpose of this site is to provide a place for our family to post items that may be of interest to each other, our friends, and our extended family.

Which Victor Mote?

There are at least two Victor Motes in the world. The one to whom this web site belongs is William Victor Mote, who lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and is a software engineer, publisher, and author.

The "other" Victor Mote of whom I am aware is Victor L. Mote, Professor of Geography, Russian Studies, and Political Science at the University of Houston. The last time I checked, information about him may be found at the University of Houston Online Directory. I have never met Professor Mote, and do not know how we might be related, but we have at least two mutual acquaintances.
